About me

A Life Rooted in Diversity and Transformation

My journey began in Africa, where I spent over a decade between South Africa and Nigeria — formative years that shaped my worldview during the end of apartheid and the dawn of a new era for the continent.

Later in France, I studied engineering and launched my first entrepreneurial projects, reaching the finals of a national innovation contest. That early spark led to a lifelong passion for design as a lever for systems change.

Educator & Thought Leader

At just 26, I began teaching at France’s top schools — ESSEC, Centrale, Strate — guiding hundreds of students across 100+ corporate projects.

In 2018, I moved to San Francisco to expand my impact. At UC Berkeley, I created the now-flagship Deplastify the Planet program, rallying 200+ companies and thousands of students to fight plastic pollution through innovation.

At the Haas School of Business, I co-founded The Equitable Design Lab — a pioneering course on how design can tackle diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) challenges.

Today, I also teach at MIT, where I explore the intersection of development, design, and scaling, working with field projects from Nepal to the US.

Author of Inclusive by Design

In 2025, I published Inclusive by Design: Crafting Products and Services for a More Equitable World.

The book shares tools and strategies drawn from real-world consulting with 50+ companies and aims to help teams move beyond performative DEI to design truly inclusive, desirable, and profitable products.

Entrepreneur & CEO

I’ve led Schoolab in both San Francisco and Paris — a 80 persons studio that has delivered hundreds of innovation projects over 15 years, helping startups and global corporations rethink their products, strategies, and impact.

Today, I lead the European expansion of Memory Lane TV, a science-backed platform for mental health and cognitive care, used by thousands of families and care providers in the U.S.

Strategy Meets Imagination

Over the past years, I’ve built a set of original assets and proprietary frameworks at the intersection of innovation, foresight, and design — not just to inspire, but to transform how companies operate and grow.

Future Modeling is one of these tools: a bulletproof method to reveal the invisible futures that organizations ignore or suppress — often unconsciously. By mapping psychological patterns, collective fears, limiting beliefs, and strategic blind spots, this approach reinvents traditional planning.

Instead of rigid roadmaps, it proposes conditional, adaptive, and economically sound strategies — allowing companies to thrive through uncertainty and make better decisions faster.

I also developed:

  • A methodology to Deplastify value chains, reducing environmental impact through systems innovation

  • A framework (and book) to create inclusive and equitable products, rooted in field experience and corporate transformation

These aren’t just concepts — they’re tools used by leading companies in real estate, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, and energy to drive real-world results.

A Few Numbers

  • 350+ organizations advised in innovation, design, impact

  • 1,500+ students trained in innovation, DEI & sustainability

  • 1 book published, featured in HBR, Fast Company, and Maddyness

  • 200+ companies engaged through Deplastify the Planet

  • 3 award-winning programs at UC Berkeley

What Drives Me

I’m an engineer by training, a designer by conviction, and a strategist by experience.

But above all, I’m someone who believes businesses can (and must) be part of the solution — not just the system.

Whether it’s designing for dignity, building inclusive ecosystems, or navigating the unknown, I help leaders shape futures they can be proud of.
